Waldorf Motorcyclist Killed In Crash At Maryland Intersection Identified By Police

An early morning crash over the weekend left a motorcyclist dead in Prince George's County after striking a sedan near a Forestville intersection, police say.

Waldorf resident Samuel Hinton was identified by police on Monday as the rider who was struck and killed on Saturday morning while crossing through an intersection.

According to the Prince George's County Police Department, shortly before 1 a.m. on Oct. 5, officers responded to the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Donnell Drive, where there was a reported crash involving Hinton.

Upon arrival, the officers found Hinton, who was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the sedan was uninjured and remained at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation days later.
